Dozer Day® Boise 2025 Draws Thousands, Gives Back to Local Schools & Non-Profits

The first-ever Dozer Day® Boise October 4th & 5th 2025 roared to life with tremendous success, welcoming more than 3,350 attendees for a weekend of hands-on construction fun, career inspiration, and community impact. Families, students, and construction enthusiasts of all ages experienced the thrill of operating real heavy equipment, meeting industry professionals, and learning about opportunities in the skilled trades.

Organized by the National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA) Southern Idaho, Dozer Day® Boise brought together dozens of sponsors, volunteers, and exhibitors to showcase the construction industry’s role in building stronger communities.

“Seeing thousands of kids light up as they climbed into real machines and learned about construction careers was incredible,” said Sheri Nowlan, Dozer Day Event Chair and Executive Director of NUCA Southern Idaho. “Dozer Day isn’t just about fun—it’s about inspiring the next generation of builders.”

The event also proudly featured Dennis Technical Education Center (DTEC) as a presenting sponsor, highlighting its vital role in preparing Idaho students for high-demand careers in a range of fields including health occupations, public safety, information technology, construction and the trades. DTEC students and instructors joined the event to demonstrate equipment, experience training opportunities, and connect directly with families and employers.

The event’s impact extended beyond the Dennis Technical Education Center. Thanks to generous community support and sponsor contributions, over $6,000 has already been donated to local schools, helping to support educational and workforce development programs that align with Dozer Day’s mission.

Dozer Day® Boise 2025 would not have been possible without the many partners, volunteers, and sponsors who made this inaugural event such a success. Planning is already underway for an even bigger and better Dozer Day in 2026.
